Triplette Competition Arms
We highly recommend Triplette for beginning equipment. Their SCA starter
package is a decent combo and decently priced. If you want something more
unique and/or period-looking, you may want to try one of the other merchants
listed below.
James the Just
A 'local' favorite, James carries a selection of blades, and has both
stock and unique hilts. His prices on pre-made swords are quite decent, and he
can custom build a hilt for you (for a fair price). Unfortunately, Estrella War
is the closest this good gentle comes to Calafia, giving one more reason to trek
out to said war.

Some very fine unique hilts, if you can spare the currency.

Currently being sold through Syke's Sutlery, an artisan of fine
period hilts.
AlChem
On a budget? Got small hands? AlChem has some of the least expensive
'unique' swords available, but their grips are on the small side. A word of
caution: while these blades are already in use without issue, the Kingdom Rapier
Marshal said "AlChem WHO?" when asked about these blades, so they may
be coming up for review.
